Every small business and most independent operators have the same shape of problem: the data that runs the operation lives across spreadsheets, folders of PDFs, an email inbox, and someone's laptop. The big incumbents are either too expensive (per-unit PMS, Salesforce-scale CRM) or too narrow (QuickBooks for accounting, Airtable for everything else but no AI worth using).
We built InventDB because the missing piece is an AI-searchable database that takes whatever you have today — CSVs, an Airtable export, a folder of contracts, a stack of scanned receipts, the patient intake forms in a shared drive — and lets you operate on it in plain English: create, update, search inside files, and save reports as templates.
The brand promise is short: your records, AI-searchable, on infrastructure you can trust, at a price that doesn't grow with your team. Transparent, per-instance, with the encryption key you control.
We're a small team and we intend to stay small for a while — long enough to nail the product, the support model, and the trust story before we scale anything. The product moves on a public cadence; the support emails get answered by the same engineers who write the code.
